As a blogger, it is always nice to know that people appreciate or connect with your thoughts. I personally write to share my experiences and thoughts with others, in hopes that I can spread some information or help in some way. Recently I wrote Black History Month: What is Means to Me and after tweeting it out to my followers yesterday morning, I received some positive feedback. Since many of my personal followers are related to the social media side of me, I was not sure this was something that would even appeal to them. I was honored however, to hear from Bridget B. Sullivan Founder and Executive Producer of Ignite Charlotte and Radio Producer and On-Air Host of PMCRadio. Ms. Sullivan thanked me for my words and asked if she could read some of my post on her radio show this coming Sunday. In honor of Black History Month, she starts her show with a black history reference. I was more than delighted to hear that she thought enough of what I wrote to do so.
This and every Sunday you can tune into Ms. Sullivan’s show “Voices From the Community” livestream via PMCRadio.org or from your smartphone via UStream. Her show airs from 3 pm- 5 pm EST where “Bridget B. offers up jazz and international programming to soothe the soul and stimulate the mind. She will be shining a spotlight on a regional jazz artist and an international artist during each show.”
Be sure to tune in this Sunday!
